Supporting Caregivers

Her services through Present Moment Consulting are dedicated to supporting primary caregivers in Squamish through her compassionate approach.

She understands that caregiving can be one of life’s most challenging caregiving roles, often leaving individuals feeling exhausted, isolated, and overwhelmed. Patricia’s philosophy centers on the belief that caregivers must also prioritize their own well-being to provide the best care for a family member.

Creating a Safe Space

At Present Moment Consulting, Patricia creates a safe and nurturing environment where caregivers can feel seen, heard, and supported.

She listens attentively and asks insightful questions to understand each caregiver’s unique situation, meeting them where they are in their journey. Together, they work to reframe stressful experiences, uncovering the small joys that can be found in the present moment.

Holistic and Proactive Approach

Through her holistic and proactive approach, she empowers caregivers to regain their sense of self, helping them make informed choices that enhance their well-being.

She emphasizes the importance of finding balance and renewal in the caregiving journey, recognizing that taking care of oneself is just as vital as caring for others. With her guidance, caregivers can manage stress, combat feelings of isolation, and prevent burnout, ultimately transforming their caregiving experience into one of growth and self-actualization.

With Patricia’s support, caregivers in Squamish can embark on a healing journey from family caregiving issues that prioritizes their needs while honouring their important work for their loved ones.
